In 1944 Vivien was diagnosed with tubercular
patch on her left lung while performing in
Thornton Wilder's The Skin of Our Teeth.While making movies and distressing with medical
problems in 1946 and a miscarriage.
 As 1948 was coming her tuberculosis was getting worse.She was put on medications,given electroshock thearpy and ordered months
in bed resting.A few years later she had her second miscarriage.Her daughter Suzanne getting married to Robin Farrington.Vivien was having miscarriges, moodswings, and getting upsetand out of control.In the late 1950's Oliver
was turning to actress Joan Plowright for comfort.In the fifties Vivien met Jack Merivale.
Oliver and Vivien divorced.Then vivien appeared
in her last film in 1964 at the age of fifty-one
"Ship of Fools".Then her last day Friday July
 7th, 1967, at the age of fifty-three.One of the most beatiful actress of all time died with six grandchildren three boys three girls and one daughter.She was cremeted and her ashes were
scrattered on the lake at Tickerage Mill pond.
